The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers from all disciplines which working on the connection between language and emotions. That emotions seep into words or that words translate emotions, language is basically an emotional media. This special link between language and emotions is behind researchers’ interest and it is explored through fundamental or applied views.
The first edition of the conference "Language and eMOTions" took place in June 2016, 9th and 10th, in Reims (France). It gathered researchers coming from all around France but also from adjacent countries as Switzerland. We remember amongst pleanary sessions from Maud Champagne-Lavau, Didier Maurice Grandjean and François Ric.
These second edition will be the occasion to check in on theoretical advances allowed to understand relations between language and emotions and to identify applications and open innovations by these researches in different fields as communication and education.
This conference applies to teachers-researchers but also to professionals and students with the aim to share knowledge (psychologists, educators, teachers, speech therapists, psychomotor therapists, etc.).
